Cycling has a very important place in the Hautes-Pyrénées. There are the legendary passes that are Tourmalet, Aubisque…. but also many more accessible bike path such as the Voie Verte des Gaves, the Pyrenean Piedmont Cycle Route. Mountain bikers will prefer one of the many downhill or cross training sites…
Located at the crossroads of all these routes, La Forêt campsite is ideal for a stopover or a holiday dedicated to cycling!

Our geographic location allows you to:

• Direct access to the Véloroute Pyrénéen - V81 (which crosses the Forest of Lourdes)
• Direct access to the Batsurguère Valley (recommended and recognized route for sports cyclists to access the big passes!)
• The possibility of joining the Gaves bike path in 10 minutes
• Easy access to the Pic du Jer - World Cup downhill site (about 15 minutes)

Our campsite will provide you with equipment to allow you to repair your bike, a secure space for storing your equipment.
We work with many partners to offer you suitable itineraries, bicycle rentals, etc.
Possibility to welcome groups of cyclists and organize adapted meals.
