Since 1955, the meeting place for lovers of camping in Lourdes!

From the beginning of the 1950s, campers settled above the sanctuary of Lourdes for the summer. They take advantage of the country setting, the trees of the Bois de Batsurguère, the Gave and settle around the Sheepfold at the end of the 18th century.

The Forest officially became a campsite in 1955, making it the oldest campsite in the city of Lourdes. Taken over in 2013 by our family, we manage the Forest with passion and with respect for its history and its environment!

Since 2013, we have been renovating and improving the structures of the Forest each year while respecting its environment and in a sustainable manner. We have undertaken numerous ecological actions and works to clean up, recycle, plant, and renovate in the spirit of our mountains. The Forest is an LPO refuge where hunting is prohibited and where pesticides are prohibited. We live surrounded by animals, those of the Forest and our mini-farm. We have a permaculture garden in which we grow organic vegetables and aromatic plants.

Part of the 7 hectares of the campsite is entirely pedestrian and linked to the Lourdes Forest which is protected. The mineral stream and its path allows you to reach the Gave de Pau in a few minutes. This natural area welcomes summer campers in tents.

Managing a campsite is a family life choice dating back to 2013; living our passion as close as possible to nature and getting away from the city. Professionals in the hotel industry, we do everything we can to offer you quality services in a relaxed atmosphere.

The La Forêt Lourdes campsite is open every day

during the opening period (April 1 to October 31)
From 25/03 to 01/06 & 23/09 to 31/10 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
from 01/06 to 23/09 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you should arrive outside of these opening hours, please contact us to find an arrangement.
